EVEN THE DAISIES ARE WORTH REMEMBERING

Hello! 

My name is Gabby Gilbert, I am a student-midwife and birth photographer. My birth journey started when I was 7 years old & I got to observe my mom’s pregnancy and birth with my youngest sister. 

As I grew up I was still absolutely captivated by the miracle of birth & its Divine presence. Birth has always been beautifully intertwined with my faith. Each birth points to our Creator. It is a gift to learn the craft of midwifery. 

Photography is one avenue of this stewardship. I first opened my business doing senior photography and slowly the craft has followed me through my life’s journey. I believe birth photography is an irreplaceable gift. I treasure capturing life’s first breath and giving mothers a view of their inner power. 

My business’ name is Bellis Birth– “Bellis” is Latin for “daisy”. In Matthew 6:28-30 Jesus speaks about God’s immense care even for the flowers. If He cares for such things, how much more does He care about you? Every birth reveals this message to me. Even the littlest of things are worth so much in the eyes of God. 

Every birth is meaningful and beautiful! It is my hope that my photography can be a glimpse of God’s immense love for his creation.
